I am sorry that I haven’t blogged in a while… but to be honest… my life at the moment isn’t very exciting… The most exciting thing that has happened to me all week is that I got a cookie at lunch… The month(s) that I am anxiously awaiting are February, and March. February: My b-day, Hannah’s B-day, and the science fair. March: Hannah will be coming on the 31st, the History Day project will be DONE and OVER with, and it will be the start of spring…(hopefully) I am hoping that this week will finally end soon. so that way i can relax, I haven’t been feeling quite as hot as I usually do, but you know… Thats life… Give or take. This is Jemma saying: Lobster Killer…Lobster Killer… Lobster Killer… (Julie & Julia)

So they count down begins… as I await the arrival of MY BEST FRIEND IN THE WORLD!!! Hannah J. Erlsten of Arvada Colorado is going to be here on March 31st at 4:30 a.m. :) and I cant wait!!! In the mean time… I’m trying to convince my mother to re-do my room… and dye my hair solid blonde… lets see how that turns out… haha…

Today, January 1, 2010, I went with my dad, aunt Lisa, Uncle Mike, and my cousins Austin and Avery, to the “Believe it Or Not” Museum in Dallas Texas. This Museum’s interesting features wasn’t always in a Museum… it first started out as a couple of small clips in the News paper and turned into a T.V. show. This amazing exibit has some things that are real…. and some that are fake… but hey… its something cool to look at. :) I hope you like the pictures just as much as I liked to take them :) Happy New Year <3

Today My mother, Gina, and I went to church on this very cold morning. When we got home I was exhausted so I went straight to bed! When I finally decided to wake up I went into the living room to find what? Oh ya…. mom sleeping on the couch. ha. When SHE finally woke up she said

“Change your cloths… I have a job for you.” and me thinking GREAT, COOKIES!!!….. nope. Snow shoveling. :( GREAT!!!! NOT!!! So Gina and I went to Gma’s house to get walnuts, a trash liner, and a snow shovel. We came home and shoveled the ice covered drive way. :/ and then went in side…. Mom said that we should watch home alone…. sooo….. Gina and I went to look for this movie of ours… and then mom comes rnning in and says…..

“Don’t look around too much…. I don’t want you to see what Santa got you,” and I just laughed at that, and carried on with my searching. :) well…. THE END!!!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…. EVERYWHERE YOU GOOO!!!

Silent Night, Holy Night… all is calm… all is bright.

Jingle Bells Jingle Bells… Jingle all the way. <3

Joy to the World, the Lord has come… Let earth receive there her King…

Oh, come, oh, come, Emmanuel, And ransom captive Israel…

Up on the housetop reindeer pause… Out jumps good old Santa Claus…

Anyway you look at it its Christmas Season… a time of hope, love, cheer, family, giving, and praise. You have presents to give, food to eat, and family to spend time with…..but the most important thing about Christmas is Jesus…. Our Savior. Who came to die for us. For the Bible says:

1. And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

2.And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.

3. And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)

5. To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

7. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

8. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

9. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

10. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

12. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

13. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

14. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men

15. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

16. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger

17. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

18. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

19. But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

20. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. 21. And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

Even though I could eat very much because of my brand new braces the I got put on, Monday, I still got to taste a lil bit of everything! All in all a great thanksgiving! I hope everyone did too! look back here soon and I will show you what I want my room to look like… :)

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. but today? Today is a gift. That is why we call it the present. -Anonymous.

This saying is one of my favorite because it is sooo true! We shouldn’t linger on the past when it is THE PAST! We should look forward to what God has planned for us. We should always cherish the times we have with the people we love, because one day…… that could be taken away from is. I know that is a hard thing to think about but hey its going to happen sooner or later. We should always be thankful for what we have, and what we receive. We should thank God for the good things and PRAISE him for the bad. For even though it may be hard for us or even horrible God is always with us through it all, but we don’t give him the praise he deserves…… Thats why we have Thanksgiving. Its a day where we can say thank you Lord…. For another years of your blessings to us. :) I hope everyone has a very great Thanksgiving!!!

God Bless. -Jemma
